There is a mystery around art.  We perceive commissioning paintings to be out of our reach. In a world of price comparison, we want to know how much things are worth and how much things will cost- art is a commodity which is difficult to value. 

Paint me a Present responds to this with the first service of its kind- an art commissioning platform that brings together multiple artists to create works of art in a transparent and financially open process.

The premise is built on the presumption that we have photos of places, people or animals that we love. We can now use these to create unique art for our homes and the homes of our friends and family.

Customers can choose from a number of hand-picked artists whose interpretation of a photo is clearly displayed. The customer then chooses their preferred size and framing options before uploading their chosen photo and placing the order. The chosen artist will be notified of the order and start creating the artwork which will arrive with the customer or be sent to the recipient of the present within three weeks.  The artwork is affordable, personal and completely unique.
